Dexter C. Rumsey, III is a lecturer, an
author and a recognized leader in the practice of trust and estate
law. As an American College of Trust and Estate Counsel fellow,
he is among only 2700 lawyers in the US selected on the basis of
their substantial contributions to the field of trust and estate
law. He has served as Chairman of the Trust and Estate Section of
the Virginia State Bar. His Martindale-Hubbell peer review
rating is AV, the highest given, showing that he has reached the
height of professional excellence, has |
practiced
law for many years, and is recognized for the highest levels of
skill and integrity. Dexter Rumsey graduated from the University
of Virginia School of Law in 1971 and earned his undergraduate degree
at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Prior to law school,
he was a Captain in the United States Marine Corps and served in
Vietnam. Dexter is a member of the Northern Neck, Virginia and American
Bar Associations and a Fellow of the Virginia Law Foundation and
American Bar Foundation. |
